Brian and Bethany | Stan Hywett Hall & Gardens, The Akron Art Museum, natural light, fine art wedding photography

This past July, Will and I drove to Akron for one of the most beautiful weddings to date. I had never personally met the bride, Bethany, before the wedding, but I was welcomed with a hug as I walked through the door. Her warm presence made me feel like I was in the company of an old friend. The ceremony took place at the Stan Hywett Hall and Gardens -- a serene layout with an elaborate estate, greenhouse and several gardens -- The reception took place at the Akron Art Museum -- providing any natural light photographer the dream setting. I was elated to photograph in such a beautiful place, surrounded by wonderful people. Some of the special moments of the day, were when Bethany's mom and brother walked her down the aisle-- when her and Brian said their own written vows-- Brian and Bethany met while working at a sandwich shop  called Swenson's. After the groomsmen performed a choreographed dance for Bethany and Brian at the reception, a Swenson's truck showed up for a late night snack, with different flavored milkshakes, onion rings and of course a famous Galley Boy sandwich --my first time having one, and it was so good!
